Natyagruham has produced more than 17 plays since its formation in 1979.the year 1979to 1990 saw vigorous activities of Natyagruham with so many productions and stages all over Kerala and other cities like Delhi, Bangalore Chennai etc.

Apart from staging plays, Natyagruham was also famous for visual presentation of poetry on stage named cholkazhcha . Famous poems of modern Malayalam poet like Kadammanitta Ramakrishnan, Dr. Ayyappa panikkar, Vinaya Chandran, K. Satchidanandan, Kavalam, G. kumara Pillai, Attoor Ravi Varma, and others were brought on stage by actors exploring the visual possibilities and contract.
